Project mission
The private dentistry market in Prague comprises hundreds of clinics with different profiles. Navigating it is difficult — public rankings are often based on advertising budgets, Google Maps reviews aren't comparable between clinics, and specialized metrics (service languages, sedation levels, surgeon staff) are rarely compared in public access.
We created an independent ranking to help patients make an informed choice: see not only Google stars, but also real technological capabilities, depth of surgical expertise, language accessibility, and price transparency.
Methodology
The ranking is compiled based on 40+ criteria grouped into 8 key categories:
- In-house surgeon specialization
- Presence of a maxillofacial surgeon
- In-house anesthesiologist and sedation levels
- Variety of implant systems
- Price list transparency
- Language accessibility of service
- Insurance and installment options
- Working hours and emergency care
Each criterion is weighted by significance for international patients. Priority is given to clinics with a full surgical cycle "under one roof" — without needing referrals to other centers.
Independence
Positions in the ranking are not for sale. No clinic has paid or is paying for a spot in the top. All ratings are formed exclusively through methodology based on public data.
The ranking's author does not collaborate with clinics on a paid basis, does not provide consulting services, and does not participate in marketing campaigns. The only source of income is independent editorial work.
Clinics can submit an application to participate in the next ranking issue — it's free and doesn't affect the final position.
Ranking updates
The ranking is updated quarterly. Each update includes:
- Verifying data currency for all clinics (prices, team composition, languages)
- Reviewing applications from new clinics
- Updating ratings based on market changes
- Monitoring general market trends (new technologies, prices)
The date of the last update is shown in the footer of each page. Current issue — 08/2026.
Data sources
All data is collected from open sources:
- Official clinic websites (services, prices, team composition)
- Public price lists
- Reviews on Google Maps and specialized aggregators
- National Register of Medical Services of the Czech Republic
- Publications in specialized outlets
We don't use closed data, insider information, or confidential documents. All facts in the ranking can be independently verified.
Team
Petr Doležal — editor and chief analyst. Since 2020, has been compiling reviews and rankings of dental clinics in Prague and Czech Republic regions. Specializes in comparative analysis of prices, technologies, and service quality in private dentistries.
The project is also supported by external consultants — practicing doctors and medical journalists who help verify the technical details of the methodology.
What we cover
The current ranking issue features 9 surgical dentistry clinics in Prague, selected from an extended list of analyzed clinics. We focus on:
- Surgical dentistry (implantation, extractions, bone grafting)
- Private clinics of Prague and nearby districts
- Clinics oriented toward international patients
- Clinics with public price lists and transparent service
Future issues will expand to Czech regions (Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň) and specialized areas (pediatric dentistry, orthodontics).
